Não foi para aquilo que veio de tão longe: aquela fila interminável de gente e aquela terra estavam longe de ser o pináculo do progresso e da sofisticação. No Porto como no IndieLisboa 2023, a lente branca, dos olhos dos brancos e da câmera dos brancos, zoomam nos seios desnudos dela e apelidam-na de Rosinha.

Entre balantas, a pessoa convidada jamais seria sujeita a tal curiosidade impertinente, doentia e bárbara. Jamais seria exposta, jamais seria tocada, e o seu nome jamais seria esquecido. Seria uma espécie de milagre se aquele povo tivesse uma “influência civilizadora” sobre qualquer outro – diria quem nós sabemos que o disse.
